My Personal Experience As a Beginner_Harley_Chick, I purchased my motorcycle before I could ride. My husband road my Harley home. I learned to ride before I took the "MotorcycleSafetyFoundation" course. Yes sounds like I put the cart before the horse.

The method to my madness was

*I wanted to get more "safety" from the MotorcycleSafetyFoundation course, I learned to ride first, this enabled me to get more safety out of the program. My husband had me up riding in about 3 minutes. OK! OK!

* I didn't get out of 1st gear at this time. That took a couple of hours in a parking lot.
