My Children ask for a ride with boots in hand, they must wear good boots and leather jackets. Don't forget the helmet and goggles. Below I've added links For Children's motorcycle protective wear.

Laws and Requirements for carrying a passenger are as follows:

Some States have specific requirements for transporting passenger. For example: The motorcycle must have back footrests for your passenger, the passenger most be able to reach the foot pegs and the motorcycle must have a passenger seat. Some states have minimum age requirements for children passengers. Make sure your Jr. rider is dressed and informed about safety before getting on the back.

A motorcycle helmet is protective headgear. The primary goal of a motorcycle helmet is to protect the rider's head during impact, Some helmets provide additional conveniences, such as ventilation, face shields, ear protection, intercom etc. Helmets can have some inconveniences, such as being hot, or itchy.

Eye protection is not optional, its the law. you can't see with Watery eyes (tears) from the wind. By law you must have an approved shield on your helmet, shatterproof safety glasses or protective riding goggles. This will protect you from dust and bugs flying in your eyes.

My experiences on my Dad's and Step-Mom's Harley Davidsons: My first time on my Dad's Harley Davidson, was AWESOME!!! It was so cool being on a Harley for the first time. It was on my Step Mom's 1,200cc Anniversary Sportster. It was my first and best ride! My Dad's Harley was awesome too.

My Dad loves me riding with him. When I ride on his Harley in the Summer it fells like heaven on earth. He reminds me all the time to hold on tight and keep my mouth closed when I'm smiling, so I don't catch any bugs. This is hard to do grinning from ear to ear. When I'm not wearing my full face helmet I get bugs in my mouth. (eeeewww!!!)

My Step-Mom and I rode through Valley Forge National Park. I had to hold on tight while weaving though the windy roads. That was really fun to do without a sissy bar.

This is my niece, another Biker_Kids, she used to ride on Uncle Timmy's Harley, till spring 2007, Casandra's Dad bought himself and Casandra's Mom Harleys. Now she rides with her parents.
