With everything else we are learning balanced up on two wheels, do your-self a favor and take lessons from the seasoned motorcyclist. Its always a good idea to pay attention to the seasoned riders advice. Not every one "drops their bike at least once". Our fellow seasoned riders can and will help.

Riding tips I live by

1. Stay afraid of your bike, you'll live longer.

2. Look twice save your life.

3. Wait till you have experience to ride in a pack.

4. Wait till you have experience to carry a passenger.

5. Wait till you have a lot of experience before you carry a passenger who weighs more than you do.

6. Never back your bike up, while in gear and holding in the clutch. Stay in neutral.

7. Riding is not something your born with, it takes thinking and practice.

8. If you have almost accidents often, in your car, maybe you should stick with four wheels-not two.

Cold Weather Motorcycle Riding The Tip I would like to share is blocking the wind this will reduce the rate we lose our body heat. This is done with covering the whole body, feet, legs, torso, hands, neck and face with leather and or wind resistance clothing. An added perk is this is also protective motorcycle riding gear.

Protecting ourselves As I mentioned above, Protecting ourselves is very important. We need to make a conscious effort in protection from abrasions as well as the cold weather. If you have most of your skin covered in an abrasive resistant fabric such as leather, the more of your skin is unharmed in the event of a slide.
